The website is now hosted at Bluehost.
The website is build with Drupal. Drupal is an open source content management platform for websites.

A new way to show pictures from symposiums is implemented.
The main functionality is that several thumbnail pictures are shown at the same time. When the user hovers the mouse over a thumbnail that picture will be shown in a large picture placeholder placed above the thumbnails.
Clicking on a thumbnail will open a large version of the pictures in a new window.

Hopfully this change will be without notice for the visitors to this site.
This site is now hosted by One.com.
The change of webhotel was mainly driven by the lack of quick support from the previous host.

Noticed anything different from last time you visited this website?
As of 2006-04-18 the website has got a completely new design but the content is in essence the same as before the makeover.
The change was mostly motivated by readability issues and the need for some navigational enhancements.
The SFTE EC website covers the topics as described below.
Information
Upcoming events
Archives and Lessons Learned
I am a long time member of SFTE and am glad to be able to help the society with my "hobby-skills" by running this site.
The former Webmaster, Erik Kullberg, started up the SFTE EC website and had it running from 2004-01-01.
Thanks to the excellent work that Erik Kullberg has put into this site - especially the things that happens in the background - there is a solid base to work from.
I will not just run the site as it was though. The site can and will be further improved and enhanced, to even more become the place for information about the society, upcoming events and a place to find papers, summery of past events and so on.
Please feel free to give suggestions, feedback and propose additional content to the website. Use the links found in the footer of alla the pages on the SFTE EC website.
