The SFTE EC Jesualdo Martinez Award In Flight Testing has been created to commemorate our colleague and board member Jesualdo Martines Rodanes, who tragically deceased in the accident of A400M MSN 23, in Seville in May 2015.

Summary of the 5th SFTE EC Annual Symposium
Munich, Germany (1992-09-16/18)
The fifth Symposium took place at Deutsche Aerospace, Munich, Germany.
Two days were devoted to presentations followed by technical tours to the Deutsche Aerospace Flight Test Facility and the German Armed Forces Flight Test Centre, both at Manching on the third day. The programme attracted more than 100 participants from 9 different countries. For most of them the close view of Russian aircraft from the former East German Forces were a first of event.
Bavarian history in both aviation and architecture were enjoyed at the Aerospace Museum Schleißheim and the Palace next to it.
Bavarian hospitality was rounded off with a local style dinner hosted by Deutsche Aerospace.
